INTAGLIO

Illustrative jewellery using the ancient Roman technique of intaglio engraving. This technique places the detail of the engraving on the reverse of the glass, creating illusions of the image floating within the surface of the material.

The ring features an engraving of a female form on the inside of the glass band.
The studs feature an engraving of a gems facets, an echo of what 'should' be there.
